Ive been throwing since i was 9 so just about 13 years now, never really looked up any guides, just threw in my backyard, occasionally with my brother, and i used cheapo throwing knives for most of it, and even to this day just old fashion bulls eye knives, some of the hardest knives you can possibly throw, poorly balanced, no blade just a point, heavy as balls, but indestructible and last for months or years, but perfect to learn with since you know if you did something even slightly wrong it was apparent cus it would not stick, unless it was all but near perfect. After today i broke a knife and went upstairs, and looked up new knives, and found my way here, since i thought up until now i wasent very good, and i wanted to see what a best in the world knife thrower could do, and i cannot believe my eyes that this guy is considered a champion of knife throwing. I actually cannot process this, everything you saw in the video above, is childs play, half rotations, sub 5 or 8 yard range, using bullet knives/ ie steel darts, which is basically like throwing an arrow, no shit its gonna stick you got all the weight on 1 end, with whats basically flights at the back, thats borderline cheating since at that point its no longer a throwing knife, its a throwing dart, like a dart board, even in the times hes rotating, its still fully weighted to 1 side, and its still, in ironically his most difficult trick in the entire video only 1 full rotation, the axes you can rule out as those are the easiest possible thing you could learn to throw right under a ninja star, or a spike ball, and wait a sec that competition for distance, is that really the record holders max? My maximum effective knife throwing range is higher then my pistols effective range, another note is the throwing speed, and style of throws, very slowly, or just barely fast, with medium arc, ide swear hes never thrown in his life, and just decided to cut, and edit a bunch of his shots, or do a best of real for his snap chat buddies. Hell im lobbing my knives fast enough to bend 1040 german steel, my brother who's twice my size throws even faster, albiet hes a bit out of practice, but are knives dont sink 1/4th of an inch into a tree, they sink an entire inch into treated hickory. Long story short, nothing in this video was of any form of impressive caliber, this would be along the lines of a pre journeyman, I mean this fully, i know beyond a shadow of a doubt i am better then this guy by a long shot, hell my brother is better to, and throws 1/5th as often as i do. Ik it sounds like im stroking my own ego, but seriously how the f is this guy the champion? Is this really the best person thats ever gone to a competition, is this the first competition, and everyone else missed it since it was just a footnote at the bottem of the news. i checked other vids, same shit, he just uses the most vauge counts as a throw object thing simple because it makes the trick vastly easier, and passing it of as skill. It would be like during a longbow competition 1 guy came out with a compound crossbow that flys perfectly straight, and is like pulling the trigger on a gun, and won the championship with it. Its like "well thats totally skill based, and not completely up for ethical fairness" What more can i even say. I guess most people that throw knives are recluses, and dont go out to do competitions, mabye thats the case, it would have to be. Hell a friend of mine ive been teaching how to throw is nearly the same level as this, but with the bullseye knives. Dont get me wrong i dont hate this guy, and im not a master alright, im not jan claude van damn from the expendables throwing it in the air and spin-kicking a bowie knife into the chest of an mercenary 10 feet away, but i can consistently do nail drivers/ half rotation throws at 50 feet without arcing, and with poorly balanced no blade, actual throwing knives, as well as bracketed side winders, and a machete without using the sheath. How did this even happen, holy crap.

I am truly addicted to throwing. I'm a beginner but have been watching Jason to learn no spin. I have got to get a set of his knives so I can try the next level. I live watching your videos and the positive energy you bring to the sport. I would love a chance to meet and throw with the man himself oneday. Thanks for the awesome videos Jason. I asked my parents to get me a set of throwing knives. They told me I could get some, and they're here now. I'm soon going in the woods to practice with them. I wanna be as good as u. 😅 Keep up the good work!
