Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings

One of the things I miss is onion rings. I can purchase or cut up a potato easily to make fries but onion rings are a bit trickier. While scrolling the other day I came across someone bacon wrapping and smoking onion rings. I don't have a smoke, yet. But this was something that piqued my curiosity. We tried and failed to make these on the grill. But the oven was successful. The outcome was amazing! You get the crunch of an onion ring and the center you crave. You can still dip if you desire. It's a win-win situation! Pure protein!

3 onions sliced into thick onion rings (there's a ton of waste)
1 package of thin-slice bacon

Wrap onions in bacon
Pre-oven to 400°
Bake onion rings until bacon is completely cooked and crispy. This can also be done on your @Blackstone griddle or Smoker.
Serve warm
