What's better than onion rings? Bacon-wrapped onion rings. What's better still? Bacon-wrapped onion rings with Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce dipped in a sriracha cream sauce. Presented by Kikkoman.

Recipe Below:

Ingredients

2 sweet onions
24 strips bacon
1 Tbsp Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
Dipping sauce:
¼ cup Kikkoman® Sriracha Mayo Sauce
⅓ cup sour cream
2 tsp mustard
1 tsp lime juice

Steps

1.) Preheat oven to 300ºF.
2.) Stir dipping sauce ingredients together and let flavors marry while you prepare onion rings.
3.) Line two baking sheets with foil and place cooling racks on top.
4.) Slice onion into ½-inch slices. Pop out rings containing 2 layers of onion. Brush with Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
5.) Wrap one layer of bacon around onion and repeat with another, trimming any excess. Secure bacon ends with toothpicks or skewers. Brush again with Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce.
6.) Place 6 rings on each baking sheet and bake in the oven at for 30 minutes. Flip after 15 minutes and continue to cook until onion is cooked and bacon is crisp.
7.) Allow to cool.

I just made these sans the teriyaki, just bacon wrapped onion, and made a sauce of sour cream, mayo, garlic, sriracha and lime juice and they were phenomenal.

I tried this on a charcoal grill and they were awesome. no sauce, just wrapped some big sweet onion slices. any dip is great. even just ranch dressing. Squirt so hot sauce in with it if you want a kick
