VA Caribbean Spinal Cord Injury Program

This is the VA Caribbean Healthcare System's Spinal Cord Injury Program - Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Awareness Month is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate multiple important facts about life with a spinal cord injury. Surviving an SCI does not automatically mean living a lonely, one-dimensional life full of limitations. Some individuals living with SCI have fulfilling lifestyles, pursue meaningful careers or advocacy work (or both), play sports, date, drive, travel, or engage in countless other life activities. The VA's Spinal Cord Injury System of Care is engaged in this celebration, and we are joining efforts in amplifying the voices of our Veterans with SCIs, sharing perspectives about healthcare, letting others know about our specialty program, and expanding the communities of support within our own VA.
