Hailey Bieber’s rhode skincare has gotten so much flak, I was laughing when one of the influencers called her out for the release party not talking about the products or explaining her love for them. I think it’s such a slap in the face towards consumers not having no passion for what they make.

I’m also interested in the Rhode Skincare drama. Would love a video on it! I’m actually familiar with Rhode clothing. They’ve been around for awhile and have a pretty big following. I’m not sure if they have a case, but it’s definitely a grey area for trademark and patent law

I definitely enjoy the hot topics in skincare format! It’s unique and interesting!

Don’t judge me but I bought a cream from Alicia Keys’ skincare line when it was half off at Ulta and also a JLO skincare set when it was half off. I’m not fans of either artist but I am a huge fan of face creams in general so if there’s a bargain I’ll usually pick it up. That said in general I don’t gravitate towards celebrity skincare at all it’s more about decent formulations and affordability as well as a bit of curiosity that tempts me.

Have a good week my friend!

That’s so odd the clothing designer is suing her. They are in two different categories, that will not hold up in court. Legally, as long as you are in two different sectors it doesn’t matter. Now if she’s trying to own it across the board, like how Beyoncé tried to do with the name “Blu”, then there’s a problem. She may have applied to use it for merch? Like how Glossier sold sweatshirts and bags. Then I get the issue with the clothing brand

I actually do like these hot topic style videos. Especially for something as obscure as celebrity drama within the skincare community. Who doesn't like some tea again and again and again? :b

Also like this video or you will be grafted onto Godrick the next time he's feeling like he wants to add more to his collection.

I have been following this topic. Kim seems to be disconnected to the rest of the world

wait, youre the first person i read that not trying to bullshjting Hailey by just saying "oh she got sued cause trademark the other brand name" as if she was doing it illegal. The fact is she trademarked it very much legal, her trademark is under Skincare and the other Rhode brand is under Clothing, so basically Hailey asking them to sell her the trademark is just cause she want to owns it fully, and not like she used her "power" to trademarked Rhode the clothing brand. Now i want to hear your opinion on this case. Could she have done it better by not trademarked it?yes absolutely, but Is she wrong legally? I dont think so
