I've gotta give you credit man sticking with the game and staying positive about it even after the ban makes me want to play.

I've kinda fallen in love with ASA and your vids helped me understand the core mechanics when I could never really approach ASE.

Using a low level Gigantoraptor to hatch eggs has been working for me for the most part. I use a low level to hatch eggs to avoid the saddle basket bug where I can't cryo the little ones.

Looking forward to the new map and updates. By the way I just found a great base spot on the Center I don't think I have noticed anyone mention at 51 53. It's a huge basically level plateau that can be blocked off completely with just on gate and a few walls. Anyone that likes to build big bases in PVE should check it out.

sigh. They never stop launching new creatures to address basic issues they created. The resource requirements were "revised" (upped) multiple times in early dev, until they're like 4x what they should be. Add in the blueprint multipliers, and that's our problem with grinding.
I long ago reset all the ASE recipes to 1x standards, and the game plays just about perfect - the amounts are small enough for dinos to easily carry, even BP multipliers don't force too much extra grind, etc.
But instead, they'll add a new dino, likely as a way to sell the DLC. Because modders will quickly add it to their maps to offset the artificial grind, and it probably won't be unlockable without the DLC.

Aberration has always been my least favoured maps. Think it’s because of the limitations they put on you with creatures but love the unique feel of the map. This time round I’m going to give it a proper go to enjoy it. Really looking forward to this now.
