Today, the opening ceremony for the Placencia Lobster Fest will be held kicking off a weekend of activities. The event is returning after a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The lobster fest is expected to generate much-needed economic activity for local vendors and fishers who will be participating in the event.
