But did you know there is also PEP - the post-exposure prophylaxis - that is used after one may have been exposed to the HIV virus.

I have exposure on 17 may 2022 and i take pep within 48 hours and i did test on 12 may 2024 and it was negative. if you take pep withthin 24 hrs it will be more effective. sooner you take, chances will be low. virus takes 72 hours to capture our cd4 cells thats why doc say 72 hours, also it depends on viral load. if you sex with person having high viral.load your chances will be high. Also pep have common sideeffects like stomach pain, acidity, headache and insomania. Till today stressed about that thing. Always think about your actions, sometimes life does not give second chance.

.... One day i expose with sexworker, in that time condom breaks, in that time iam very scared, after 12 hours i started 23/05/2024 pep treatment for 30 days... after 90days 23/08/2024 my test results non reactive (doctor prefers 2types of tests, i don't know what he prefers, doctor says don't scare you are hiv negative person)
