It’s also just good to start out that trait of talking to yourself so you don’t feel uncomfortable when people are ACTUALLY there. Make jokes to yourself as if people are watching all the time!

Whenever i see someone who is talking to themselves and nobody else is in chat, i tend to stick around longer than I would've initially to give them someone to talk to. They're usually very grateful to not be alone anymore and get a feeling of worth out of what they're doing.
