hmmm, seems that the file in question is not necessarily malicious if it's just sitting there, only if executed then comodo reacts.
i've been using CIS for many years now and the containment abilities are second to none! great product.

Hitmanpro is only free for 30 days. Comodo is permanently free, so its not quite the same market category. I'd use Comodo as a firewall but not AV.

I used your advice from several months ago to remove some malware from my Mac book pro. You recommend the free version of Avast and it worked well just as you said. It’s still on my computer and updates regularly with current definitions. Is this still a good program to continue using? Or should I use the recent Comodo program as outlined on your recent Aug 19 2019? And uninstall the Avast program...

Comodo is garbage. Their product wastes vasts amount of HD space, it poorly made. CIS was using over 100gb of space it was wasting on my system and keeps increasing in size, this is absolutely crazy. When contacting Comodo they knew about the issue
and said there was no fix the to their crap products but you could just uninstall and reinstall the product o.O so it can waste vast amounts of your HD space again for no reason. I told them what they could do with their product, that i would never use another comodo product again as they are untrustworthy.
