Lol Everytime they take turns talking the one just sits there awkwardly wondering what to do.

Can you be hit by falling debris? Theoretically, yes. Statistically, no.

I applied to be a space janitor last year. Turned out it was to clean their offices and restrooms. Sounds cool on my resume though.

I think space missions can be designed to be debris free. IIRC, ESA's ATV ISS resupply missions are one example of debris free ones.

Did they say human waste? So it's possible to get hit and killed by poop?

Did she said "f*cks of paint" on 1:30? Coz that is what I hear and I replayed it several times.

The person who got hit by space debris... that must be lucky to have been hit by space junk!

A good bit of Australian sense of humor saw NASA sent a fine for littering in Esperance, Western Australia. The SkyLab space station from the Apollo missions didn't quite burn up before impact, you can still see the pieces today :)

Does the earth weigh less because of the stuff we send to space? & how much weight would the earth have to gain or loose to change its orbit and rotation?

You could have done the Chance of you getting hit = (cross section of you) divided by (total surface area of earth) = really small number

I remain a third party, I was never afraid, nor am I afraid after knowing this. Sadly, if I do die by Space Debris, my body won't explode in a splatter or bloody viscera. Since the space debris that actually makes it to the Earths surface is generally more heavy, and gravity along with force cause things to burst into flames within the atmosphere, my body would be charred and it'd look more like being shot with a bullet. A somewhat clean, semi-seared hole right through depending on the angle and the size of said debris, is all there would be in damage. If it hits me in the face, I'll be headless, the torso, I'll be heartless(wink), and if it's a limb, well, you can imagine I'd be an amputee, but not exactly. It sounds like my arm would be amputated, but there really isn't a term for this instance of having a severed limb. You'd just be "That guy who lost his damn arm to space." And on that final note, I hope you enjoyed my bit of insight.
