Menstrual Cups- Periods | JustEnufEyes

This is my experience using the Diva Cup for about a year. I hope this video is helpful, and informative. I purchased this from a health food store. I would recommend everyone considers researching cups as an option for them.

I love my Diva Cup. I would say that if you don't like it at first keep using it about 5 times before you quit. It does have a learning curve, but it's awesome once you learn! For traveling it's great, too, since you don't have to pack sanitary products, or worry about finding adequate plumbing or garbage disposals.
If you are in a public washroom, just wipe it out with some TP and pop it back in. No problem.

Omg thank you so much for doing this video! My local Shoppers started stocking Diva Cups and I had heard people mention it before, but hadn't heard anything about how it's used, why it's better than pads/liner/etc. It seemed like such a foreign concept, but your video has totally convinced me to give it a try! I also have a heavy flow and the cup looked so small that I was afraid of it spilling over... haha

I use a menstrual cup since 4 years ago and it's the best thing I could have done. Now I  have one in my workplace and one at home, so wherever I get my period I can just grab it and use it for a week, then store it again. I haven't observed any damage in the cup, I think I may keep using these cups until I get children in few years, since according to the directions of my cup brand they produce 2 sizes depending on whether you had babies or not. But a friend of mine uses another brand and directions say their sizes are according to whether you ever had sex or not. Let's see XD

Is it ever messy? How do you deal with cleaning it in public washrooms? That's the main thing I worry about.

I'm also 23 and I've only used pads for my period. I want to try a cup but I'm scared I'm gonna do something wrong lol.. Would it be a good idea to try this when I'm not on my period?

Ugh. Your periods sound horrible. :/ I barely bleed at all and only last for 1-4 days. But, I know women that bleed excessively and I feel so bad for them. Sometimes it stinks being a woman.
