I like that Devon is focusing on FEEL with Brian instead of power. That's the stuff that's not as easy to teach. Brian has all the power in the world but the feel is how you get your set up.

I love how much of a sponge Brian is. He just wants to learn as much as possible about everything. He knows he is arguably the strongest man to ever live, but he never acts like it. He is always the student, always so humble, never puts himself above anyone else. Always knowing he can never have enough knowledge. Brian is the very definition of work as hard as possible for the smallest advantage.

49 year old Devon currently training two possible legends in the making, Brian and Auden. Aged 20+ years apart but both can definitely become threats in a few years with the right training. Pretty cool that's possible in this sport. 400+ lbs crashing down on people with a shoulder press transition is going to be lethal once Brian has all the conditioning and technique down. Like the legend Cleave Dean. Keep it up.

Brian Shaw is a world champion strongman, the best of the best, and here he is being very humble like a student, just hanging off every single word being given to him. He does not interrupt. He does not over-question. He listens, observes and then acts. Far less accomplished people than Shaw cannot do that.
And then you have Devon. Not only is he very respectful but he is showing his son how to humbly teach, who in turn also politely shows his enthusiasm and lessons to one of the best strongmen to have ever done it.
I wish I could have the kind of father/son relationship that Devon and his son have. You can tell that Auden and his brother have the most positive parents ever.
