Casio A700 models compared (A700WEM, A700WE, A700WEG)

Thanks for the great comparison! I had a hard choice between WE and WEM. Finally, I bought the WE. I preferred the black dial and the more masculine / retro appearance. During the day I do not really notice the hair pulling, but I have quite thick & long gorilla hair on my forearms. In direct comparison, I agree that the material quality of the WEM is better. And yes, the milanease band is more comfy. The WE’s overall style is however one of the most appealing to me - and that makes the deal for me.

I have the silver faced one (A700WM) with the segmented strap from the black faced one fitted as I believe it looks better 😉
Notice I said WM, not WEM. The former is the mineral glass faced variant which is supplied to the US and Asia for some reason.

I was looking for the gold A700 with Milanese band (WEMG-9AEF). Though not featured in this video, your review and side by side comparison was enough to convince me. Ordered one right afterwards. Thank you!

For me, WE and WEG mirrors the style of the original F91-W the closest, and F-91W IS undeniably, the most iconic and influential model ever released by Casio, just not in metallic gold or silver color.

I have heard the web band on the WEM model does not lay flat all the way around when you have small wrists...which I do. My wrist is 170mm ....any thoughts would be most appreciated. Thanks!

I bought the WEG, then the WE. Whilst I love the band on the WEM, I'm just not struck on the face, though a lot of people seem to prefer that watch. Each to his own.

I have a casio a700 with mesh bracelet, sub no date, tudor bb58 blue, a panerai and a gold daytona. Trust me, the casio is the conversation starter 🤣🤣

someone else said that the clasp on the mesh bracelet doesn't go small enough to fit say a 6 inch wrist. did you find this to be the case?

How big is your wrist and how does the mesh one fits? I'm planning to buy the one with the milanese bracelet but almost everywhere there's someone saying that is get's too lose on smallers wrists (mine is 6in)

I don’t genderize clothes and accessories too much normally but mesh strap looks just to feminine to me. And I love love the other band.
