I bought this scooter at Roadrunner in Denver CO April 2023. I took it with me in my RV and traveled the country. I rode this thing on the coast of Oregon and coast of Maine, and everywhere in between! It even got left in the rain all night by accident and still didnt skip a beat. I now have 1200 miles on it, and just installed my 3rd rear tire. I love this scooter and hope it continues to last me.

These appear to be a variant of the OEM D4 NanRobot series scooters. They are sold by several different venders including Roadrunner, Solar, Laotie, all with slightly differing accessories. As long as you pick the options that you need the most, just find a reseller that you can trust. Overall they are fast as hell and pretty decent for their price point. My Solar P1 2.0 has consistently got around 23-25 miles range using both motors in 3 rd gear.

I recently bought a D5 by Obarter, & this D4+ looks like an off-road variant of that.

Hi guys, so when can all of us expect your review on the brand new RX7? That is by far the most beautiful scooter i have ever seen and though my wife told me to Sell my GT1 and Max G2, i think if i just get an extra shed to store them in, i might be able to get away with having an RX7 next to my Inmotion RS without my wife getting irritated with me lol 😅

I picked one up with 15 miles on it for $700. Based on your review I got a good deal.

Roadrunner's higher end scooters like the RS5, and RS7, are pretty impressive, but at this price point I think the Solar EQ is a better value. I like the steering dampner, but it might be overkill on a 40 mph scooter.

Great review. Thanks to everyone ar ESG.

Fold down handle bars are worth the extra couple hundred bucks when you suddenly need to put it in a car trunk - -i like the digital card keys of the VSETT line -wonder how it compares to a Vsett9 ? Wiped out like myself hitting soft sand in Joshua Tree :)

what’s the difference between this and Nanrobot scooters? Seems like they have the same models. Is there a history there between the two?

Nice stack mate. It's always hard to tell when the gravel is just too loose. One sec you're fine another your front tyre is buried 2 inches into the sand.

IP53, I wouldn’t even get close to water. Seems like a lot of people think IP62 is better than IP45 when it comes to water resistance. They don’t seem to know that it’s only the second digit that tell you what kind of water resistance that is on offer which means that IP45 is way better than IP62 when it comes to water. The first digit is about dust and solid stuff.

How come ESG has never reviewed the Mukuta10+? I would like to see some episodes on the many scooters that exist which have been rebranded from other scooters albeit with some differing decals and perhaps options. As for this thing, it looks like it was newly designed for 2015, definitely not for 2024!

after seeing this video it's now between this and the ausom dt1 leopard. would anyone know which one i should go with? the ausom dt1 leopard has shown to be 2 to 3mph faster and is 2 to 3lbs lighter but the rs5 is american company so i think i'll have better support. it's a tough decision.

I recently got a Yume Hawk Pro for under $1500. 60v 30ah Samsung battery, dual 3000w motors, tubeless 4.5"x10" tires, max speed of 50mph and 60mi range. Comes with two chargers for fast charging and a damper, NFC keys, a thumb throttle and an index throttle, as well as a few other less important accessories.

I'm not saying this scooter is crap, my cousin rides a RR RS5 and it's awesome (except that they claim it's tubeless and they're absolutely tubed tires). But the Yume seems to be built way better than this one.
