Oscar-winning Pawlikowski presents 'Cold War' at Cannes

Oscar-winning Polish director Pawel Pawlikowski presents 'Cold War' at the Cannes Film Festival, a black-and-white period romance set among the members of a touring folk group in the Eastern Bloc in the 1950s, which he says was largely inspired by the life of his own parents.

Can't wait to see it, here in the States, enjoyed, Ida, tremendously, that year -2014. MR. Pawlilowski is on par, with most of the famous Polish directors, that I can recall, creating: mood, suspense, character, something, that main-stream Hollywood, will never deliver, sorry, should not mention Hollywodd in a first place, cheers from Walnut Creek, Ca.
