got tired of using my grandpas decades old plugin drill for home DIY stuff so just went all out and got the m18 fuel drill and driver combo. after a couple months I decided they were way too overkill for home DIY stuff so got the m12 fuel set. very happy with my final choice. they pack so much power for a very compact size. they perfectly suite my needs. I only need them 1-3 times a year but wanted some good tools. Im sure they will last me a decade or more since I know how to properly care for the batteries or I could just replace them with warranty if needed

Agreed 100 percent. That is one of the best drills ever produced. Strong enough to do most tasks, and not large and heavy to wear us down. But for DIY tasks, almost any "Amazon" drill would do.

I’d go dewalt 20v… good weight good battery and they are very durable

I started as an electrician with that drill and people I worked with used to laugh at it until one day they needed it to get into a tight spot. Let’s just say they quickly appreciated it and it definitely made a large amount of our work on my first job site actually achievable.

Try n do a day of cutting out holes threw house panels with that lil guy sure 1 2 holes but that’ll just drain that lil battery bro I do heavy duty work all day not drilling in mud

i have the m12 hammer it die in small work on concrete for chick coops and the next day it die in me im not buy the hammer drill / m12
