When Aboriginal chants blend into the song, no matter how many times I've watched this film, I still get goosebumps. It's such a shame that a full version combining both cultures with those iconic Aboriginal chants was never released, because I would have snapped up that album in a heartbeat. It's a fusion of two cultures, and it truly sells the Australian dream to the little European I am. ❤🇦🇺

This movie was so ahead of its time!! Australians really sleep on how culturally significant this is and the beautiful message it coveys. Truly beautiful!!!

How much better can you get than two cultures embracing each other to sing and dance?! My favourite scene from the movie honestly. Awesome

This is the best part of the movie, in my opinion. When they do other shows, the audience is very indifferent and cold. No applause, people look bored. It's very frustrating.

Aboriginal people are different. They are welcoming, clap their hands, show joy and even interact with them using their traditional instruments.

This is my movie. I can’t get enough of it. This, Rock Horror Picture Show, The Birdcage, La Cage Aux Folles and Too Wong Fu: Thanks for everything, Julie Newmar are my favorite drag queen movies.

This version just rocks! The added chanting (dare I call it that?) adds SO much to the number. A beautiful fusion of cultures.
