Very good video 👍. You might also spread those top limb’s away from the center. Goes along with clearing out the middle of the tree.

Do you have a follow up video on it? I want to see if it actually works. I follow up would help. Thanks.

Nice orchard. Mine is just now going strong. Instead of pinching the top bud could I just cut about maybe 4 inches down and root the cut?

Hi, where are you in BC, I'm from Chilliwack BC ( thanks for the great tips). LIke to know if you have the variety call "Petite Negra" fig plant? they are small plant that can grow in pots. Because i don't have a big yard and that's the reason i need to plant it in pots.

What to do if the tree is a few years old and healthy but will not produce any figs. It gets lots of sunlight.

I am on zone 6B in, Ontario. I have fig trees in pots, that are about 2 years old, some of them have little figs popping. I would like to put them in the ground, when is the best time? Can I plant them now in the beginning of spring? Thanks

😂
Yir no British Columbia.
My year long experiment with 100s of Desert King figs may soon be over.
They reached 6 ft then grew large leaves under lights starting in May and when I put them outside all the leaves have yellowed and fallen off.
My sun gold tomatoes ate 6 ft tall with small greens that were in a $20 greenhouse in spring. Now on 4x4s on mini roller tracks to chase sun.
Medjool dates did great from pits.
Mangosteen in the mail from china.
Tempted to buy puff ball spores.
Sunflower microgreens for the Food Banks.
I'm a senior.
There's no money making in food.

This method might work in north east areas. But I won’t recommend it in south east ( Florida ). I’ve tried it and just destroyed my lovely fig tree. It was terrible experience at least for me
