Crossfit Games Director Dave Castro reprised Murph for the 10th anniversary of the Games, as athletes completed two 1-mile runs, 100 pull-ups, 200 push ups and 300 squats on Day 3 in the Soccer Stadium. Rogue Athlete Josh Bridges dominated the men's field and took home a first place finish in the event.

I'm almost 38 and in good shape and i can't fathom finishing even part of this. 100 pullups alone, to me, is crazy. I think it would take me forever. But maybe because i don't know how to do or have ever done a kipping pullup, only dead-hang pullups.

Josh Bridges you beast! I feel like this was the best test of fitness in the whole games. I tend to think their was a little too much emphasis on lifting heavy weight in the games. It definitely should be in there, but extended endurance played too small of a role.

Everyone’s complaining about the pull ups, but just about every cross fitter I’ve seen in my towns local CrossFit could do about 20 minimum strict pull-ups, it’s just that during competition they’re doing it for time, it is kind of stupid but I did notice that they do develop their pull-up muscles anyways and are actually very good at it. I don’t do either and they still out do me by 12 at least if they’re regular cross fitters, a lot more naturally explosive as well. I used to do CrossFit for basketball and things such as dunking and explosive strength came a lot easier.

Instead of complaining about the kipping pull-ups (which I still can't do) get your ass off the chair and try it. Then add 20lbs and try 100 of them.

haters should try to do 100 kipping pull-ups with a 20 lbs vest before commenting. If they still have their arms attached to their torso afterward.

Pull-ups is name overall ''pull-up''. If there was written '' strict pull-up'', then kipping will be not allowed.
