Pretty much every song I included in this video was composed by Koji Kondo. Any song that wasn't composed by him I mention.

Also, some of the songs mentioned were a collaborative effort between Kondo and other amazing composers.

If you would like another video in this style of any other interesting composer or person please mention it in the comments.

This was really well done, really funny.

However, I think you should know that ever since Super Mario Sunshine, Koji Kondo hasn't really been involved as a main composer. He was the main composer of Sunshine, but he only wrote about half the music. The example you cited with Deep Sea of Mare was actually composed by his co-composer, Shinobu Tanaka, who also wrote Noki Bay, Sirena Beach, Pianta Village, Pinna Park, the "Event/Race" theme, the Boss battle theme… quite a bit of the music is hers. Kondo was responsible for the earlier themes like Delfino Plaza, Bianco Hills, Ricco Harbor, Gelato Beach, likely all the cutscene music, and the Staff Credits theme. (this is all confirmed on the 20th anniversary compilation album that has these tunes on there, they credit each composer)

Most of Super Mario Galaxy was NOT composed by Kondo, but actually done by Mahito Yokota… however, it just so happens that the one you played happens to be one of the two tracks he composed for Super Mario Galaxy.

Since Super Mario Sunshine, Kondo has contributed just a few tracks to these games:

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (composed two tracks)
New Super Mario Bros. (composed the main theme only)
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (composed the demo trailer theme)
Super Mario Galaxy (composed two tracks)
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (composed the Ending theme only)
Super Mario Galaxy 2 (composed three tracks)
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (composed one track only)
Super Mario 3D World (composed two tracks)

Every other game in between, Kondo was only a sound supervisor, merely looking over what others have done. Now, after 3D World, Kondo suddenly started to become just a tad more involved in composition again.

Super Mario Maker (sound director and main composer)
Super Mario Odyssey (composed 11 tracks)
Super Mario Maker 2 (sound director, composed all the new course theme music for the old game styles)

Notice I skipped Zelda: Breath of the Wild, because Kondo actually did not score a single track in this game at all. He wasn't even listed in the credits, but it's known that the composers and the sound director would present what they had to Kondo so he could take a look at it.

Cool! You might want to work on your audio mixing so the levels are more balanced. I found myself adjusting the volume several times during this video, good work though and I hope your channel grows.
