Also, we need to build dams around the Brahmaputra and all our rivers that we share with China. China WILL water-war with us. We need to be able to control the floods when China intentionally releases excess water into India.
China controlling flow of water is something we can (directly) do little about but we can and should guard ourselves against the intentional floods.
