EU states could BLOCK an extension to Brexit, and Nigel Farage has urged them to go ahead and do it.

Michel Barnier is said to have told senior MEPs and ambassadors this morning that there's not a clear majority for any extension to Brexit.

And among the 27 countries there are different ideas on the conditions and length of extension too, if the PM did ask for one.

Every state has to agree unanimously in order to let the UK delay Brexit past March 29.

But it's looking more and more likely that MPs will try and force Theresa May to ask for this as the Brexit deadlock continues in Parliament.

Mr Barnier said today that there would be no more talks between the UK and the EU over Brexit...

We voted OUT! We knew, as everyone who spoke said, we were leaving the single market and the customs union. This was stated many times! Now LEAVE with NO deal, you stupid woman!

Look at the hard work Mrs May doing to stay in the eu

May should have assumed no deal from the start, her and the government should have planned for that happening, clearly the EU were never going to give us any great concessions, over 2 1/2 years of doing what ? clearly she never wanted to break the ties and carry out the referendum result, they have played games and are still playing games, the British public should remember this and vote accordingly.

The claim that leave voters did not know what they were voting for is not only an outright lie, but a denial of the fact that remainers are unaware of the duplicity of the European Union's cover up as when it was sold to Britain as the European Economic Community.

Why leavers voted as they did is because the ultimate ambitions of the EU were becoming increasingly exposed as a naked ambition to gain control over Europe as a whole. Why this is made more explicit by Leave politicians is beyond my comprehension. Sadly the truth is being obscured by the Irish backstop question, which is a complete red herring; as are many other issues.

Expose the EU fraud now!

It doesn't matter if you voted Leave or Remain, Labour or Tory, or if you're young or old. We've all been betrayed by a load of self-serving political pygmies. The days of politicians actually representing their constituents are over. Politicians with passion and conviction have been replaced by professional politicians with absolutely no experience of life outside politics. They don't relate to voters and they're only motivated by greed and self-interest. For years now they've let the banks and corporations make the rules and set the agenda. Vote for whoever or whatever you want. Or don't bother. It doesn't matter

Love how he portrays Farage as corrupt but the whole EU is undemocratic.

Is Theresa May had the balls literally and metaphorically then we would have had some strong decisive leadership that would have had us out by now. We would be trading with America and the rest of the commonwealth and thing would be improving.

Barnier says he will remain respectful of the UK and it's people. This is the man who has shown utter contempt for our leader, even turning his back on her.

"Out" means out and "leave" means period.

Would we have a better standing in Europe if we were not represented by saboteurs?

Nigel is right. The UK remaining is in neither interest. We've been an uncomfortable bed-fellow for decades going back to Thatcher negotiating the rebate, staying out of the Euro and out of Schengen (to name a few). We're a square peg in a round hole ... time to go.
