What is health care reform? It’s called the Affordable Care Act – but what does it really mean for you?
For starters, the law could make insurance more affordable for some. It makes it possible for Americans with health conditions to purchase insurance. It also removes certain limits and restrictions sometimes included in health coverage in the past.
Starting November 15th, you will be able to shop for these coverage options on your qualified health insurance carrier’s website or through the new health insurance exchanges. You’ll be able to calculate your monthly premium, and see if you qualify for tax credits or help paying for the cost of coverage.
