I like Dr. Tam, but I disagree that you can over-test. If we had the ability to do so, I would like to see every person tested every 5 days that we know who needs to stay home and who doesn't. This is what they are doing for hospital workers in Israel, and I think it's an important.

I would seriously like to know what is being done for college and university students who were relying on summer jobs to pay for bills and tuition who now don’t have these opportunities due to the closures of non essential businesses. Students won’t be able to survive without financial support and I have heard nothing from the Government on this issue. With every press conference repeating the same information and the pointless moral boosting mantras about how “we’re all in this together”, the more my patience wears thin. Enough is enough, tell us something we don’t know.

I came to Canada in 1998 with only $50 in my pocket, not speaking English and have nobody. I got government help for six months, then I found a job and work so hard since then. Now I have a hair salon and of course closed, no income. All I have it’s only $50 cash in my pocket again, but I’m still great full and blessed to be here and proud to be a Canadian. I trust my government and Canadians.

No retailer is doing pick up for groceries. Instacart too has no slots. All slots are closed. Any suggestions on how to buy groceries without traveling to a store?

BRILLIANT IDEA !!!
If you don't have enough tests, why don't we divide all working people in to mandatory 3 groups, one group works 5 days, second group isolates for 5 days, third isolates for 10 days, then you revolve this around repeating it. After 5 days first group isolates for 10 days and second works 5 days etc. etc. Anybody showing symptoms gets isolated for 10 additional days. This way you only risk 33.3% of people not whole 100% of them. You could even do that in hospitals, you don't need everybody there everyday anyway. I would even make those people that work those 5 days, have to do shopping only on those days, later they have to isolate for 10 days. If we implemented that from day one, all would have been over by now, no tests needed at all. Furthermore, I would make employer pay 33.33% of wages, government would pitch in another 33.3% of employee wage, and employee will pitch in by not collecting 33.3% of what they would normally get pay, no harm done they only work 5 days then take 10 days off, every 15 day cycle. This should be implemented globally right now. Punch line is only 33.3% of people at any given time would interact with each other that work and do shopping, rest 66.6% would be in mandatory isolation. Spread of Covid-19 would be reduced by more then 66.6%, that would buy us time to fight back.
