You should cover SCHEME: GUID Partition Map, Master Boot Record, and Apple Partition Map. I want to divide SSD into 2+ partitions both for PC & MAC. Will have to do some more research. Got half my questions answered.

While ExFat is compatible with Macs & PCs, it also gets easily corrupted in case of power failure or sudden ejection. HFS+ Journaled is more robust in that regard

Excellent video Dave and brilliantly explained. I will be using ExFat on a new external 4TB hard drive for my new Mac Mini when i receive it here. I prefer the flexibility of the ExFat file system in general as I have an older Windows 7 machine and therefore I like to be able to read and write with an external hard drive on both my Windows 7 and my New Mac OS Which 'Big Sur'.
