In this lesson, you will learn how to develop a lesson plan.
In your lesson plan, you will pull together your learning objectives, training content, methods, and resources into a document you will use to facilitate your training. During this lesson, we will define what a lesson plan is, learn how to define learning objectives and outline training content. You will be introduced to the ROPES model for structuring a lesson. Then, you will be introduced to a lesson plan template that will help you develop the content you need to ensure an effective plan for your training session. Lesson plans take time to create, but they ensure that the information you need to teach follows a logical sequence. This will help your students engage with it, and, ultimately, understand and retain it.
