I love that the attack mechanics depends on the melody of the music

Note 2: I won’t be going into the soul ‘fusions’ here, only the 7 originals

Determination: normal box from up-side perspective

Kindness: you stay still and have a shield to block

Perseverance: there are a bunch of lines in the box where your movements are confined to, however you can jump between them, instantly teleporting to the next line

Justice: a buff to Determination, you get a bullet shooting mechanic to help you get through obstacles you couldn’t get through if you were to be determination

Integrity: the view is now changed from up-side to side view, you can still go left and right, but going up now accounts for gravity, allowing you to jump

Patience: a nerf to Determination, you get a circle around your soul where you can only move if an attack is inside that circle

Bravery: there is a bar that depletes (extremely quickly) when you stop moving, if it depletes completely, you start to take damage, if you move again, it will fill back up to full, allowing you to change directions

I like that sans soul is damaged, it shows us that monsters can get hurt when using souls.

Heres how the souls work but simple
Determination: nothing
Orange: you keep moving for no damage
Blue: gravity
Yellow: gun
Green: shield
Cyan: determination nerf. You have circle around you but can only move if attack inside circle
Purple: lines for moving. Go up and down and soul will teleport to line

Soul fusions
Green and yellow: shield with gun
Yellow and blue: gravity with gun
