FYI, I just replaced the Fox Triad on my 2007 Stumpy FSR with a Fox Float DPS, 6.5" x 1.5". You can use the existing bushings from the old Triad, but you will need to trim the new, plastic spacers included in the Float DPS. I cut off the flange of the top spacers to allow the aluminum spacer to sit flush like the old one. I also needed to file the bottom spacers, once the old bushing was pressed in, so they were flat and even with the aluminum bushing. I then did not need the bottom washers since the new plastic spacer acts as the washers. BTW, I love the socket bushing presses!

thanks for the video my man! I have a 2006 stump jumper in lime green with the fox triad leaking oil now. I just replaced with the monarch 7.5 inch and it went perfectly. I taught my 6 year old how to use a vise... and me too. I flipped my bike over to do it and it was easy. Peace and Dirt Riding!

I don't get why all suspension linkages use bearings except for the shock mounts

So I was thinking of replacing my x fusion 02 with a fox triad. Seems like people are just changing the triad out instead of rebuilding it. Why is that.
