I had to tell a friend's mom that i was worried about her because she was hanging around with bad people who didn't look out for her after a particularly scary night she texted me from some random dudes house after her friend abandoned her there alone with 3 guys. It was so hard, and i didn't even tell her mom much, just that i was worried. Her mom went snooping, found drugs, and grounded her for like a year 😬 She was pissed for a while, but she realized eventually that even if it meant we couldn't be friends, I'd ALWAYS have her back and look out for her. That was a turning point in her life and we're still friends to this day while all the other people in that story are gone. I think we'll be friends for the rest of our lives. I'd go to the ends of the earth for her. 💜 True friends look out for each other always.

I was one of those kids who told on a friend. Hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. She was getting into drugs and luckily the intervention stopped it all. That was 30 years ago and that friend is still drug free.

It took a lot for me to go to a school counselor and tell them of what I saw and heard from my closest friend that they were thinking of ending themself. She didn’t talk to me for a while because she was angry with me for “betraying her confidence, ” but I just wanted to save her life. After a couple of weeks she came and thanked me so much. She is happily married with kids now. ❤🎉

Reminds me of a "friend" I had in middle school who started out nice, until she started hanging out with the popular "party kids" and started bullying me. At first I was mad and hurt, but then she started posting really concerning stuff on facebook (such as pictures of herself doing drugs, CSEM of herself, talking about an adult boyfriend, etc). I reported her account to her parents, and she was so convinced I did it to be petty or to "get her back, " but she was able to get the help she needed. We never spoke again, but I hope she's okay now
