Their pushing it because being a dodge the transmission is probably already burnt out.

You'd think they could have figured out how to make the rear axle fit more center in the wheel well.

The rear axle doesn't line up with the wheel wells.

Just saw a boat dealership near me selling one full cab full size possibly f250 instead for 17, 000$. Killer deal because it looked almost exactly like this

A Ford and a Dodge combined. What would you call it? Would it be a Forge?

I say no matter what, the guy who did this is pretty darn smart and talented. He must like to tinker with old vehicles and fix them up. We all should have a hobby! May he inspire you to do something out of the ordinary and make it work!! Great job!

Somebody put an awful lot of money into it without measuring the wheelbase. Where else did they cut corners?

I would totally convert one of these trucks, or one of the 1960s ones, particularly one that has just two tires in the front, as well as two tires in the back, and a long pickup bed, into a retro Excursion-like truck, that is, weld the pickup bed to the cab, add the seats, some more carpeting and interior touches, another row of custom made seats or two in the extended truck bed/new rear section of the custom made SUV, some more electronics, including a nice booming stereo system, a more powerful engine, possibly a good V8 or V10 engine under the hood, maybe even that super good V10 engine that is in the Excursion, make it have a lot of power and torque, as well as useful in a practical sense, but also have a lot of gadgets and features, as well as make it ultra luxury, like beyond HongQi, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Land Rover, Jaguar, Aston-Martin, Morgan, Brabus, Rezvani, or Bugatti luxury levels, and also make it impossible to have rollover as well. Ford totally should have done that with this truck in the 1960s onward to compete with the GMC/Chevrolet Suburban and the International Harvester Travelall, and Chrysler should have also done that with not only their Dodge trucks, but also made them for Fargo, Plymouth, Chrysler, De Soto, and Imperial, and sold all of them in the USA as well, and GMC should have made Buick have an SUV during this time as well that is essentially a badge swap of the GMC/Chevrolet Suburban, but call it the Lucania instead.

I bet buyer's remorse will set in when he thinks about it later on. It looks compromised on the outside.

I was at my parents house when that was on, they don't get the drive train & price, nothing I could say justified that "old truck" xoxo

It's not even a 12 valve and that transmission is likely not a good option. This truck looks poorly done to me 210, 000 ridiculous.

I was trying to hunt down a 12v the other year. Gave up cuz everybody overpays just like this. But it is a nice truck

Shoot had I known Trucks can sell for that much I would’ve went through with building an old 1950s Ford F5 and tossing it on a 1994 Dodge 1 ton chassis with the old 12 valve 5.9

They should have kept the original frame, axles, suspension, etc. and put a 7.3L IDI in it.
