I grabbed this and Trails immediately when I saw them at Target. I also love Deck Builders, and this one seemed like such an easy intro deck builder to get people into it. Really fun stuff

Wow, it doesn’t even feature crying locked in a cabin while the other kids go play hacky sack. 2/10, not realistic enough.

I'm also a sucker for deck building games and this one looks like a nice simple one with a good twist on the board racing aspect.

For some reason when I see this board game I can't help but think of summer camp Jason. I've been searching too long on the wholesome horror movie comic side of YT.

I feel like this game goes under the radar when the question is asked: "What introductory deck builder should I get for newer players?"

A lot of answers will be Dominion, which, IMO is actually not the best choice for *brand* new board gamers (just too dry and the front-loaded info of all the kingdom cards can be daunting). Some might also suggest Quest for El Dorado (which I personally love), but I do feel like it can lead to frustrating game states (stuck in a certain terrain, waiting for the right card draw) that just don't show up as much in Summer Camp. Every turn in Summer Camp feels at least a *little* productive. Combine that with the adorable theme, the different decks, and the relative ease of groking the cards and, IMO, you have one of the best beginner deckbuilders (and honestly gateway games) out there.

please do a review on Unmatched! You play as different fairy-take esque characters, such as Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde, or King Arthur, and you battle the other person! It’s probably my favorite board game and it’s just so much fun.
