I wish other gibli films got more love, because all of them are very beautiful! But I see why Spirted away get’s a lot of love! It’s a very beautiful and simple story about love and finding ones self.

And I can truly understand why Billie Ellish chose to get inspired by Spirited Away for her new song. The song is more like an experience rather than music, there is this deep immersion and feeling of escapism throughout the song, that the listener becomes part of and shares. There is a strange and eerie feeling of the unknown, and tbh all shares the same profound traits as Spiritual Away.
