TeamIndus Rover Assembly

On 19 March 2017, we released a space challenge on our Medium blog that required one to help ECA navigate along the Lunar surface and score maximum points.

The prize you ask? A chance to assemble your own rover.

The overwhelming response to the challenge got us to select 20 winners, instead of the planned 10. After all, it's not everyday one gets to build their own lunar rover!

On 5 August, we hosted the first batch of winners for the rover assembly workshop at the TeamIndus HQ. It is safe to say that we spotted many rover specialists in the making!

Now it’s time to host the remaining 10 winners of the challenge. The second edition of this will take place on 11 Nov at Ambience Mall, Gurugram, Haryana.
A rover assembly is an important event for us as this is the first-time regular folks can come in and experience the technology behind our moon mission.

In addition to the rover assembly, our engineers will also be interacting with everyone at the mall on Saturday. We invite you to come and learn more about our mission. It is time you get onboard! 😊

TeamIndus is the only Indian team in the world’s largest competition to send a robotic explorer to the Moon - Google Lunar XPRIZE.

Follow the story of world's first private mission to the moon.

Well guys best of Luck for your journey. May the force with you....
Also first indian object on moon is MIP(Moon Impact Probe) with Indian flag. So you will be expanding Indian territory if you carry indian flag by international maritime laws..., 🤣
