Great video I come from Video game press and am on dozen of those press lists and pretty much all it takes is doing the work and make connection to get offers and every industry has different threshold of followers/reach needed to get review copies/loaners but put in the time and you'll get there.

The Washington DC auto show at the convention center was the last week of January and it does open to press before it opens to the public

I am hoping to go to the Chicago Auto show next year as I feel that the North American one was a huge letdown last year and I’m definitely not wasting money to go back again this year

You've made it big when you get a press pass to a car unveiling.
Subaru went all-out with their display. Philly has a track for Jeep/Rams to drive around and I think they had a Kiyundai EV track this year but no giant Subaru diorama.

The best auto show I have been to was the auto show in motion where the public attendees were allowed to drive the cars.

I wonder did you get to do full reviews of the cars there (at least a comment section sans driving)?

I thought about doing reviews like Angry Old Man Reviews where he hates everything as much as you love everything.
