Monastery in Our Midst

A preview of what you will see and experience when you visit New Skete Monastery. We invite you to join us at one of our events or on a retreat.

Annually we host an Open House in June, Pilgrimage in August, and The Blessing of the Animals in the fall. These events are open to the public and no reservations are required.

We host a Lenten Retreat and a Fall Retreat. Both of these themed retreats include themed conferences by the monks and nuns, worship, time for quiet reflection and a light breakfast and lunch.

Workshops include dog training workshops and iconography workshops.

We also host group tours, group retreats, and individual retreats by appointment.
