It's hard to pay attention to anything in that calendar because YOU LOOK SO GOOD IN RED LIPS!!! 🍒 Soft eyes, gold accessories, blank tank, slicked back hair and that bold lip look incredible! I know you love a sparkly eye as the focus, but this looks amazing too!

The scarf: If you’re one that holds a shoulder bag by the part where the strap meets bag, and *especially* if there’s a bronze and brass buckle there, the oils from your hands will destroy the finish on that spot over time. At the very least, you will have a spot on your bag that is discolored, causing uneveness in the coloring. I damaged my first luxury bag this way. When I went to clean it, they explained to me that scarves tied to bags are actually functional, in that you tie them where you grab the bag, and it protects the leather or buckles on the bag.

If only all advent calendars can be like this... Even the cheaper ones like... Just go for the cheaper brands but still make the experience worth it! Not bottom of the discount bin tools and tiny samples

The earings have a card that links to a much more expensive earing. The websight link is for a DIFFERENT product. The ones in the vogue calendar are gold plated brass. The ones on the website are gold vermeil stering silver. The value difference is over 100 dollars.

I use Foreo since 4 years ago. Its still doing its job til now. Best purchase ever. Cleanse my face really well. Only need to charge once every 3 month. And easy to clean

So true that U.K. luxury calendars are better in general, they really put the effort in. I lived there for 20 years and still have friend ship me over 3-4 calendars that I can’t get in the US- and they’re still worth it with the added shipping cost. And if you want perfume, get the Jo Malone calendar- you can pair their scents in several ways so you get way more variety in just one box. Worth it!

This is the first advent calendar that is tempting to me. I’m not gonna buy it bc I do think I’d rather spend that money on something I really want, like a new kindle. But it’s the first one I’ve seen that seems “worth it”.

I’m sure you’ve seen all the info about Perioral Dermatitis, but what really worked for me was simplifying my routine a TON. I don’t wash my face in the morning (or only use moisturizer after a shower or something) and then in the evening I cleanse my face with Osmia Organic black clay facial soap and I moisturize with Avene Cicalfate. I haven’t had a flare up in 4 years. I’m pretty sure a complicated skincare routine was what caused it for me in the first place unfortunately :( I hope this can help someone who’s struggling with PD! 💗

I loved my Foreo when I had it. I had one of the original Lunas for YEARS. Like, years and years. I got it as a gift in May of 2014, and it survived to 2021. I would 100% get another one if I could afford it. It felt so nice and luxurious to use. It did make a difference in my skin texture, but felt super gentle and was like a little nightly face massage. I probably used it more often than I should have (almost every night), but it wasn't a harsh exfoliation, so it never made my skin feel dry or over-exfoliated. I used a really gentle cleanser, and my moisture barrier was still in tact after years of near nightly use. It's honestly a lovely device.

A friend of mine showed up at the end of her rope and looking for a drink and a sympathetic shoulder. She had just been told by the doctor that they had exhausted all options and the perioral dermatitis was just something she would have to deal with going forward. She is not a girly, girl so no makeup, no skincare routine above soap and sunscreen and it did not appear to be a contact trigger. I disagreed and suggested she try one last thing and change her toothpaste to an SLS free version like tom's of Maine (SLS is a known skin irritant and it's only there to make the toothpaste foamy which is not necessary). She did and said it was much better in a day and completely gone by two.
