Was sceptic after opening ceremony for SoD. But after deep dive, it became clear they are really watching closely to the community and make small but smart steps. They showed so much attention to the details, I do think it will be a lot of fun. The question still remains, what will happen with my Uber OP epic characters after the season ends... I still prefer open discussion with the community versus surprises, even when they are well thought out.

Looks good but I just started a run on turtle, not played wow since TBC and I fear it may kill the end game when most will leave for this newer classic plus.im having fun so I think I'll wait and hope it will not be dead after the end of the month.

I think Blizzard missed the mark with SoD. This is not what we wanted. Yes class changes are fine but they basically changed the entire game. It looks like a vanilla version of Cata.

No need to bring retail specs into classic and those flashy boss skills and stuff. Should have balanced out all classes, made all specs viable and add lots of hefty 5mans and other dungeons (personally dont need raids) but thats just me. Giving twow a shot now :)

SoD is doing a lot of things right - is there a problem with the tanking role being too "investment heavy"? now like 4 more classes can tank effectively, with less investment(amount of "BIS" required to do group content).
is there a problem with healing role? - same thing - now a mage can spec into healing and do that role for at least 5man content. OR two "dps" can do half healing and fill that role together. OR two dps can use taunts and kite melee units as part of "tanking".

season of discovery ... doesn't have a final date - an end date.... technically it could continue as "classic+"
they've said that each cap will be weeks - not months but as we reach 60 that could change - because they might change the approach of keeping on raising levels.

They just had to ruin it with Warlock tanks, warrior healers etc. They had one task, so simple.

The problem is… well 1) the title ‘Season of Discovery’ sucks, but more importantly 2) why did SoD only feel like 1/3rd of what blizz is working on? That scary retail focus still exists despite community pleas…

i don't like SoD, it looks like a 14 years old first private server.
the 10man stuff looked so boring, hope they buff bosses with all these "new" old abilities.
