I have the Eve Audio SC207 myself :) i would not trade them against any other monitors on the market. I totally love them! Very good choice!

Hey, not sure if anybody’s said anything @EytschPi42 but I am long term user of the VXT8 monitors in my mixing environment (Along with BM6A) but I had the same problem with radio interference. What I found was the speaker itself is shielded ok but I believe the combo input point may not be? I was running mono 1/4” TS cables from my interface but after switching to balanced 1/4” TRS cables (or 1/4” TRS to XLR cables, I’m sure you know but for those who don’t, this adds another shielding to the cable or “Sleeve”) the radio interference completely disappeared and has never reappeared. I have been using my VXT8’s now since about 2009/10 without this issue ever rearing it’s ugly head again. Im glad I ran into you on here! I too am looking at starting a channel for monitor, mic and pre-amp review and you’ve given me a few new ideas... Cheers!

The mesh tweeter cover is meant to be swapped with the one that comes on there, you just undo the small screws and swap

Dear youtubers, if you insist on doing unboxing videos, please unbox properly!
1) Open one side, and flipp the box opened upside down, so it will sit on the opened side.
2) Yank the cardboard box up. lifting the light cardboard box off the packaged product is much easier than trying to pull out a squeezed 10 kg package out of the cardboard.
Also, I think that you need to raise your speakers abit so the tweeters will be on your ear level - this is how it looks to me in the video.
If you put them on some isolation device you'll gain both the height and the benefit of isolation from the desk.

Oh, and thanks for the video!!, always appreciate people taking the time and sharing their experience with others.

I have yet to hear better monitors then SC207. Will add a TS112 probably in the future to create truly 3-way system with ultra bass extension (24Hz on the TS112) and 6.5 SilverCone on the SC207 satellites becoming midrange only drivers. This will probably be the absolutely best system for 'home' environment this side of 3000 euro !!!

And indeed, Eve people are ultra friendly and helpful.

Really like my Rocket 8's for playing through my Helix and use monitor switcher for Bxa 5's when mixing in home studio. Always thought if I invested in new monitors I'd get Yamaha's but I'm interested in your ongoing review of the Eve set you introduced here.

So.. 3 years later.. what are your thought on the SC207? Do you still use them, have you found something better?

I looked at these, but couldn't hear them anywhere in the US at the time I was looking. Ended up spending the big bucks on top of the line Focal SM-9's which has amazing bass. Also like the fact that the Focals are Class AB versus Class D. But, orders of magnitude more expensive. Be curious what you think of the fact that they are digital in terms of crossovers.

hi bro, sorry i have a question, im using 6 month speakers SC207 studio monitor eve audio, in mode horizontal but i didint know it will creart a problem for that . right speaker last day works well untill time that in 1 second, speaker couldnt work, i put it vertical when i did it it stil working well, but left speaker from last day untill now, when i turn it on, and lights turn on, it cant hold turning on and it will in few second wil turn off, even in mode vertical i put it now, mayby if i put it vertical and dont use it in few days or even week, it will repair automaticly or i should repair it or ... ? tnx for answer

Sc207 have bass reflex on the back, which in your case, putting them so close to the wall could cause too much uncontroled lowend ? Or this is the misconception that is flying over the internet :D
