The Netherlands is known for cheese, wooden shoes, windmills and tulips. But did you know that tulips and their increasing value caused 'Tulip Mania'? It was the first speculative bubble, and even though it is highly arguable, many people compare it to cryptocurrencies. The country is too known for its location, which allowed it to become the trade hub of Europe.
