USF4: Rumored Change Test - Seth's Tanden Engine

So, it's a very big nerf for Seth. He'll lose his powerful pressure.

So, definitely appreciate the time you put into giving us concrete visuals as opposed to theory discussions on event or shoryu. Damn, that damage is going to be nuts. i think u have a good point . ex-tandem cancelable : to keep easy pressure u have to give something in return . seems very fair

I was under the impression that his EX tanden would still be cancelable from normls as they didn't mention it in the change list and they usually list the EX versions of moves as separate moves.

If this went through, his footsie game would be a lot riskier since certain normals of his will be punishable. What's he gonna cancel into? Boom? The kicks? Maybe teleport. Either way I see it, less flexibility, less mixup and certainly less meter and fadc pressure. I don't think they would do this to him.

Filipino Champ, after suffering from Seth, just might be one of the first to propose changes. It seems he still suffers the match against Seth.

True string tanden is obviously broken - and people are crying about its change. The tanden definitely needs to be nerfed somehow. Maybe killing the move altogether is too much but at the very least it should cost 1 ex meter to do or something, cos it's kinda braindead as of now.

I've read someone else suggest that Seth's Tanden Engine should still be cancellable into, but only have the vacuum effect on hit.
