This was one of 3 books I was able to read cover to cover on my own in school. One of the only books to ever keep me on the edge. Very happy to see a movie had been made.

For any of you wondering in the movie the characters are in Anne, loomis and Caleb now in the movie it is a love triangle to sum it all up but in the book there was nuclear apocalypse (as well)and the characters are Anne and Loomis now in the book it focuses on surviving because Loomis turns out to be a tyrant and Anne is trying to escape from him but in the movie it's a love triangle (and caleb wasn't in the book at all)so its pretty diffrent

I never realised Margot Robbie was actually a good actress when I used to watch her in Neighbours. But she's been in so many great movies lately, and her acting is really good. I mean that accent is great!

Let me tell y'all a funny story.
So basically once we did this thing called Novel Studies, we got to pick a book then we would go to the teacher teaching that book if that makes sense (discussions, activities to do with the book.) I chose Z For Zachariah. When we were choosing the books the teacher who was teaching that book said that there was a graphic ending so he kind of warned us that if you're sensitive to that sort of things don't choose it. (He chose the older people in our class, becauae we have mixed classes with 11-13 year olds) I chose that book (dirty 13 year old me.) And I finished the book in half the time we had, I was a huge bookworm and there was no graphic scene. My friend (she didnt have that book) had watched the movie and said that there was sex scene in it. My teacher watched the movie but didn't read the book (teachers are supposed to read the books before giving it to the students) it was hilarious when we told him

the opening of this movie is welch, wv, the town and the underpass. i live 30 min from there. our lil county never gets recognized for anything so thus is pretty cool to us.

Margot Robbie really has hit the scene

Unconventional, very different and realistic take on postapocalyptic world. It is not some calculated psycho thriller like trailer made it, it is a character study drama and a good one. Cast is having great chemistry, everyone is developed well so you understand their decisions when it comes to tricky parts. It has intimate atmosphere and is very captivating at moments when tough choices are made. It is little bit slow, but beautifully photographed and realized. 3.5/5

I feel like I'm watching a trailer for a completely different book. I'm reading Z For Zachariah right now (only about one chapter left) and this is completely different. 1. Her name is Ann, not Sarah. 2. She doesn't rush down to warn him about the radioactive water. 3. There is no one named Caleb in the book 4. She and Mr. Loomis don't get along well and dance and stuff in the very confused.

even if don't have nothing to do, do not watch this movie!!! I was waiting for something to happen and suddenly the final credits.
I'm so disappointed that I had to write this to warn people.

I'm really looking forward to this film! It does have that ex_machina feel to it! Just three characters interacting. Movie looks very suspenseful! Be glad to see if Margret Robbies acting ability really shows in this film and Chris pine has potential to be a amazing actor and this role he's playing could show his true talent while Chiwetel is already going to be awesome! The cinematography looks amazing and even though this is a love triangle movie, it still has this dark unsettling tone to it, which I love!!
