Bro doesnt recognize the term selfish for steve even after...every body knocked down steve without hesitate he was standing against the thanos army..even after his friend was in the wrong side he doesnt left them(tony stark, bucky)and also when bucky killed tony stark parents without acknowledge as a selfish he can be teaming with tony stark and killed bucky but he didnt...thats not a simp..nowadays people doesnt know the meaning for simp(someone obsesses over someone else who does not return their affection)..steve did was he wait for damn long for his love when he get a chance he went for her..

Maturity is realising that there's nothing wrong with what Cap did. He was a man living in a time that was not his own, and he yet he took up his mantle once more and fought for others selflessly, even willing to partake in a universal war, after all he had lost. After you've exhausted everything you have to give and did your absolute best at it, it's okay to find rest.
Also, Steve had no obligation to the time he found himself in. He had already done his part and served his country. What is selfish is asking him to do more.
And by the way, Thanos's actions were selfish more than they were a sacrifice. He disregarded what Gamora wanted and sacrificed her so he could get more power for himself.
