From time to time we go out onto Hollywood Blvd. for a round of one of our favorite games with Cousin Sal. We find some families and add an extra person to them. Then Jimmy tries to identify the stranger in the bunch.

They didn't even need to ask questions on the 2nd family. Susan immediately stood far away from the father and had to be reminded to get closer

I knew as soon as Susan said “maple and vine”. As a Calgarian I can safely say we don’t name our streets like that 😂

But the first one was obvious even without Brendon talking. The rest looked so similar.

Jimmy, never give live earthlings as gifts. Those fish don’t deserve to go to someone who didn’t seek them out. I hope they are ok.

Obviously both dead give-aways... I mean the first one the dude completely ruined it, and the second one was a little more subdued, but you could tell when Susan, the last lady, bumped into the guy next to her when they were walking out that her reaction was that of one you would have with a total stranger and not a family member.

I could tell the four Canadians were related from the shape of their faces and noses. The two sisters in particular look very similar. I also knew George was Canadian because he said he had maple syrup stocked up, which is a very Canadian way to tell a joke.

Giving the intersection in Calgary as Maple and Vine is a sign she was the stranger, since most streets in Alberta are numbered. But interestingly, there does happen to be liquor store named "Oak & Vine" here!

Born in Calgary, grew up in BC. W. C. cities do not generally have streets with those names.

Seriously, the dude who was way taller than everybody else in his family... no one even gave a thought to the possibility that he could be the stranger?! I know he could just have the freak tall genes in the family, or be adopted, but that's typically not the first thought you think of when playing this game. Dude did not match!
