This breaks my heart. If I went with what I knew was true" as a kid.. i would have BEGGED AND PLEADED until I was able to "transition" from a girl to a boy. I wanted it more than ANYTHING. Like I cried everyday bc I felt like i was a boy in a girls body. Everyone that didn't know me thought I was a boy. If today's society saw everything in my childhood, everyone would claim I was trans.
I was never told "no, you're a girl" or anything like that. I was allowed to act, dressed, talked like a boy. I was by all appearances, a boy.
But I grew out of it. On my own. It was a phase.. When I was between 13 & 14 I really started to embrace being a girl.
If I grew up in today's society... my life would be absolutely ruined if I was allowed to be medicated or had any surgeries.
(I'm not saying this kid HAS been medicated or had surgeries, I have no idea). But regardless, this video promotes those kinds of things even if that's not the intention.
Please.. coming from someone that has been in that exact position... just let kids be kids. Let them present, act, dress, talk how they want. Just let them be them, forget the labels, and let them make decisions about meds and surgeries when their brain is fully developed!

Honestly I support kids that are LGBTQIA past a certain age. If a six year old said they were trans I would just be like “erm do you even know what that means?”
But puberty starts around 10-15, so I think once you hit puberty, that’s an appropriate age to experiment with different labels, figure out who you are.

Edit: ima be fr here. When I saw this I mean I would let them express themself how the identify when puberty starts. Before that if you think you are, explore yourself and express yourself when it’s appropriate
