We have ordered a new A Class with most of the options. We are down sizing from a C Class to the new A Class. We have already driven one and fell in love with it. Since we are retired, we really don't care about back seat comfort, all though having sat in the back, found it very comfortable, but has some problems when the seat is back too far, with getting in and out. We will be getting ours at the end of May and the first week in June, plan on taking a road trip in it. Looking forward to that. With all the options, ours priced out at about 42500.

I don't think I've ever used the roof handles on any car for any practical use. Used to fiddle with them as a kid much to my father's annoyance, but that's about it.

This voice recognition is the best in any car at the moment. But you journalists are being so daft. You can't say hey Mercedes and then talk to the camera about other things (because now it is waiting for a conmand) and then you say cancel. I mean what do you expect? It was listening to your sentence. You saw it there. It works flawlessly but most people are just being dumb about it.

I like where Merc is going with their design language. I liked Audi but the new cars they are debuting don't look good to me.

Bruh why ppl comparing this to a accord, vw golf, Mazda, etc. This is a luxury vehicle it's not in the same class as those vehicles. Compare it to a Audi a3 or a BMW 1 series or 2 series

Ordered an A250 AMG Line Hatchback. It’s coming in November. Can’t wait. Drove an A180d and A200 AMG Line and loved them. The ‘250 is gonna be killer. MBUX is badass! Love it.

I leased a CLA 250 several years ago and what I didn't like about it was the cheap interior, big gaps, jerky transmission, and rough suspension.

However, I like its solidity, styling, and presence (people look when I arrived at my destinations).

Looks like MB addressed the shortcomings to come up with the A-Class.

They need to give it more power though.

Maybe the electric version will address this issue.

I might just buy one this time!

I saw one of these at a dealer in Sacramento Sunday. I had no idea what it was. The rear reminded me of a Camry or a Kia Optima.

I pity the us market not importing the hatchback variant.... I bought a 2019 A200, 163 bhp 1.3 manual shift engine and it is handsdown my best car i have bought in my life.


I do think this review doesnt do the a-class any justice... this car is so safe that you dont need handles for one thing.
