I know it says to use fabric softener but can you use liquid laundry detergent?

Doesnt work. Even moved it to small closet and shut door for a week to try it in a small confined room. Nope does not work. What a waste of supplies. Used fabric softener in one bowl. Oil in another, and used faboloso in another. Anything i thought may work. I even left cloves out of one bowl and put bay leaves since i saw some videos people did that. Nope no luck after a week. If a closed up in a small coat closet for a week in a bowl doesnt work. Then yeah,
