Galaxy Watch 4: Black Screen, Won't Turn On? Watch This!

My watch hasn't worked for more than a month and the first few tries of your tricks didn't work for me. You said to keep trying, so I did!! My watch just started again after probably five tries. (I almost gave up). Thank you!!

1st step fixed me. Wore the watch until it completely ran out of power. Charged it but it had shut down (ran out of juice). Tried to restart it with the start button and no response. Step 1 fixed me and I learned a little something from watching your video all the way to the end. Thanks!

My screen is black. None of the suggestions worked. You apparently can't reset if the watch is not already on. In the wearable app the general tab is blacked out. Can't reset..

My brand new out of the box watch was having this issue. The hard reset fixed it. Frustrated that there's zero instructions included in the box, not even so much as which button is which. Just the legal stuff, an advert for the watch I bought, and telling me to connect it to the app (which doesn't work if it doesn't turn on). Thank you for the help :)

Thank you! The first technique worked on my sm-r805f.
My s21 stated it was charging but the screen remained blank, holding both buttons forced it to reboot and fix itself.

My Galaxy Watch 2 was off for over a year (from being lost. Found it very close to my desk). I recently charged it and despite showing 100% on the dial, it wouldnt come on. I tried the remedies I saw online before coming here and nothing worked.
Once I got to you vid, I cleaned then spammed the buttons then held them for 10 seconds. IT WORKS AGAIN! WOOO!! It's currently updating, thanks for the save!

How do you do Factory reset if the damn watch is dead? It doesnt let you on the phone to Factory reset it

Thanks! It worked I even called Samsung and they sent me to the wrong place to get a technician. I would have to go to another site much further from my house. Frustrated, when I arrived home I searched and got your solution which worked!!! Thank you again!

That is a great video and easy to follow. It will save a lot of people angst. Unfortunately, it seems my watch has a bigger issue. It is completely dead. Won't turn on. Won't charge. It has never given me a problem before suddenly failing today.

U can't facory reset if it's on n connected

I was so worried I broke it somehow, but this worked!! The restart also caused it to say it needed an update too.... maybe that's why it spazzed.
