Very cool, very helpful! Always great to have alternatives, and I like how you picked chords that all work in the key of E-- many thanks!

First learning guitar in the late 70's all I learned was barr cords and I default to them. I am trying hard to avoid barr chords now.

Look easy to move down the standard "initial" E chord and add up the 7ths. down the Fret. My question how you strum and avoided the open strings. Thanks.

Is there a book or chart for alternative chords?

For the first cord, why not just use your 3rd finger and pinkie so your not stretched out so much?

I see great players not using barre chords but some type of one/two finger chords. Ammo imagining it seems no one on you tube knows how to play these
