When you are install os. definitely need for a os setup. This os setup will booted on the pendrive or CD drive or directly select ISO file.

Fatal : no bootable medium found! System halted

when this error appeared, maybe you are selecting a wrong bootable drive or CD drive or damaged Disk Image File.
